Malipayong pag-abot sa Bohol!

Warmest welcome to the 3rd Philippine Solid & Hazardous Waste Management Conference 2018 in Tagbilaran City, Bohol this coming December 5-7, 2018!

Tagbilaran City is Bohol's capital city and hub of commerce. It is the center of governance, education, and transportation. The city has also recently become a venue for national conventions and gatherings. Also called The City of Peace and Friendship, a nickname aptly suitable to where the first recorded treaty of friendship between the Spaniards and the Filipinos ever occurred - the Blood Compact of Datu Sikatuna and General Miguel Lopez de Legaspi in March 1565.

The City of Tagbilaran is a recipient of DILG's 2017 Seal of Good Local Governance Award and Child Friendly Local Governance Award.

Bohol, the 10th largest island in the Philippines and blessed with natural wonders, is home to world famous Loboc Children's Choir, Chocolate Hills, Tarsiers, Ubi Kinampay, magnificent marine life, and some of the best beaches in the world, among many others.

Bohol is a recipient of DILG's 2017 Seal of Good Local Governance Award, for the 3rd time, and the "Most Business-Friendly Province" of 2017 by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Governor Edgar M. Chatto
